Dates Departure Times

• May 27 - June 9 at 1 p.m.
• June 10 - August 20 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• August 21 - October 5 - Weekdays: Monday-Thursday at 1 p.m.       
• August 25 - October 8 - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Weekdays (Mon- Thurs) at 1 p.m.
• October 14 - 29 - Saturday & Sundays at 2 p.m.

 

General Seating

 (All summer trips are roundtrip  2 and 1/2 hours long

Lounge Car Seating (Due to health code restriction's, no pets allowed in the lounge cars.) Lounge Car Fir Table (Seating for 1-2 individuals regardless of age) $155.00: includes roundtrip excursion for party only. Spruce Table (Seating for 1-4 individuals regardless of age) $310.00: includes roundtrip excursion for party only. Children and babies must be accompanied by an adult and count as an individual for seating purposes, ie. 2 adults and 1 child must purchase space at a Spruce Table. The lounge car must be booked online; to book online please click here. Seating in Lounge Car is assigned by the Leadville Railroad upon arrival and may be subject to certain restrictions including but not limited to booth size, location of booth, food and beverage restrictions and accessibility. Note: ALL Discounts must be presented at the ticket counter before purchasing tickets. All coupon codes, promo codes, and other forms of discounts must be done online at the time of purchase. We do offer military discounts of 14% off tickets with a military id., please use code MIL23 at check-out or purchase tickets at the ticket counter to receive this discount. You will be requested for your military id. at will-call or the ticket counter.Engine and Caboose Seat Are Available: Advanced reservations are recommended. Please call for information and reservations about these private seating cars. General seating is ridden in the opposite direction. Prices are in addition to the general seating ticket.Information:

Tickets are held at will call. We request you arrive one half hour before your trip and redeem your tickets at will call. Any unclaimed tickets remaining 15 minutes prior to departure may be subject to forfeit their seats. Parking is free and available on site. The north parking lot can accommodate buses and RV's we request if you have an oversized vehicle that you park there. We may ask you to move to a more convenient spot for all of our patrons use, we reserve the right to do so if necessary.

Our Cancellation Policy for Summer (please see our no refund policy for Holiday Express trips and other Specials)

We understand your travel plans may change. With that in mind, the Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad has a very simple cancellation policy: regardless of whether you made your reservation online, using our mobile applications, or via our 800 number, just give us 24 hours notice prior to your departure time and we will give you a refund less 15% of the total purchase price. Refunds normally show up on your account within 3-5 business days.
Unfortunately, the Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad cannot refund payments for special tours and trips including but not limited to: Wildflower Specials, Fall Photo Specials, BBQ Specials, Non-Profit Trips, and Holiday Express. For all cancellations canceled with less than 24 hours notice prior to scheduled departure time or in the event of a no-show, no refunds will be offered.
